Who are we?

Cronfa Asedion Cymunedol / Community Assets Fund is a LEADER funded Pembrokeshire based project.

We are a regional lottery scheme who work closely with local people in their communities.

How does it all work?

We ask you to contribute £5 a month or £60 a year. Sign up using the forms on the website. These can be found in the About section of our website.

As an example, £60 a year will be broken down into 3 parts;

  • 50% of your money  will go back into a community group, project or local good cause of your choice.
  • 35% of your money will be put back into the mothly lottery prize pot.
  • 15% will be put back into keeping the project running and general administration costs.

So at the end of one full year of participation, you will be able to donate £30.00 to your local community group or project. If you have told 10 people about the scheme and they all participate for a year, that is £300.00 raised for your cause. Not  forgetting your monthly chances at winning some cash in the lottery draw.

If you do manage to sign people up to the scheme yourself, we offer a small cash incentive upon 3 successful monthly standing orders. You can read more about this under the Promoters information.

We wish you lots of luck in the draw and look forward to hearing about where you have sent your money.

Asedion Post Covid-19

Hello all,

What a strange six months many of us have experienced. Personally my lockdown experience has consisted of looking after my two children whilst my wife continued to work in the NHS - quite a challenge if I'm honest! But it wasn't all tantrums and tears as it did provide me with an opportunity to slow down and appreciate the things I have around me. Being put on the government furlough scheme meant that there was more time available to do those all important jobs around the house and enjoy the extra play time with my girls. We also adopted our second retired greyhound so time has bee...

Crymych Local Scoops £100 first prize

Good evening all.

I would firstly like to start by saying that things are certainly a bit different for everyone at the moment and it is imperative that we are all reducing our social contact and following the advice given to us by our government in order to stay fit and well. Stay at home wherever possible, only shop for necessities, don't panic buy, continue to talk to your friends, work colleagues and family members by electronic means and from a safe distance of at least 2 meters. We ALL need to be socially distancing ourselves and this WILL pass.

So moving onto other news, before we all...

Asedion at Solva Symposium

On Wednesday 11th March 2020 at Pembrokeshire College a fantastic event took place that really celebrated the power of community cohesion and how small groups of like minded individuals can come together to achieve great things. There is no questionning the togetherness of the Solva Community!

We had the pleasure of hearing from members of Solva Care, who are one of our beneficiaries, along with some inspirational monologues from a local farmer and fisherman. We heard some great poetry and were able to watch a video on all things Solva. They even fed us! The cawl was delicous.

As with all of the events, the aim is to promote the scheme to the local community and hopefully get more promoters on board so that more notable good causes can benefit from additional funding.

We hope to see many of you there.

Jason. Project Assistant.
