Here at Asedion, we get many questions about how our local lottery works, how you can become a lottery winner and people can help more! We want to make sure that you have a full understanding of how we work before you join so that you understand how much being a member truly makes a difference.
Here are some of the questions that we get most, if you still need help please do not hesitate to contact us.
You contribute £5 a month or £60 a year. 50% goes back into a charity or good cause of your choice, while 15% goes towards administration expenses and 35% goes towards your chance of being one of our monthly lottery winners.
The more members we gain, the more your good cause benefits and the more our jackpot grows!
Your £5 monthly donation will give you five chances in our Asedion monthly draw. Essentially, it’s £1 per number. Don’t forget to check out our news page to catch up on the latest lottery draws.
Yes, you can! Helping is at the heart of everything we do here at Asedion. So, if you feel that you would want to split your donations to multiple good causes, you’re more than welcome to do that by logging into your account and changing the named charity after so many months and spreading your donation to several nominated charities – We have a few current members who have donated to several beneficiaries over the years
You are certainly more than welcome to change who your beneficiary is. Your chosen beneficiary will receive your donation at the end of a twelve-month cycle, so all we ask is that you complete a year’s cycle to your original named beneficiary so that they can receive the full benefit of your contributions.
Yes, they do. We do this so that we can verify their charity status. Charities can register to become an Asedion beneficiary by visiting our new charities page. If the charity gets accepted, then they are available for selection by other Asedion members.
Yes, you are more than welcome to stop your standing order at any point within the twelve-month cycle. You are able to notify your bank who will be happy to cancel the standing order at any point.
For over 15 years we have been helping out the local community, starting out as a community drive as an effort to stop local schools from closing. Now, with the backing of LEADER and European Union funding, we continue to help our community and give back as much as possible.
In our time, we have ensured the upkeep of local shops and facilities. As we continue to grow, we would love you to help us to help your community. The more members we gain, the greater our jackpots can be and the greater our impact can be felt.
